A comforting and juicy smash burger that brings nostalgia and flavor to any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 4 Burger buns (soft, brioche-style)
  • 4 slices Cheese (American or cheddar)
  • Toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions)
  • Seasonings (salt and pepper)

Instructions

  1. Divide the beef: Take your ground beef and divide it into balls, about 4 oz each.
  2. Preheat the griddle or skillet: Heat your pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Smash the patties: Place a beef ball on the griddle and smash down hard with a spatula; season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook until crispy: Let it cook undisturbed for about 3 to 4 minutes until the edges caramelize.
  5. Flip and add cheese: Flip the burger and add cheese immediately; cook for another 1–2 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  6. Toast the buns: Place your buns cut-side down on the griddle to toast for the last minute.
  7. Assemble: Stack your burger with toppings of choice and enjoy!

Notes

Customize with toppings like barbecue sauce or avocado for added flavor.
