- 1 package (15.25 ounces) vanilla cake mix
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the strawberries by washing and slicing them.
- Mix the cream cheese, sour cream, and sugar in a bowl until smooth and creamy.
- Layer the cheesecake mixture in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, then sprinkle the cake mix on top without stirring.
- Add the melted butter drizzled over the cake mix.
- Top with sliced strawberries.
- Bake for 30 minutes until golden.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Use frozen strawberries if fresh ones are out of season, and feel free to experiment with different cake mixes for variety.
