Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef (80/20)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black Pepper, to taste
  • 4 Burger Buns
  • 4 slices Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Onion, sliced
  • Pickles, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Shape the patties into loose balls (about 4 ounces each).
  3. Sizzle the beef balls in the skillet and smash them down with a spatula.
  4. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  5. Caramelize the onions in a separate pan over low heat until golden brown.
  6. Add a slice of cheddar on top of the patties to melt.
  7. Toast the burger buns in the skillet until golden brown.
  8. Assemble the burgers with the patty, cheese, caramelized onions, and pickles in between the buns.

Notes
