Instructions

  1. Heat your skillet: Begin by heating a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add a splash of oil to ensure the meat gets that delicious sear.
  2. Form the patties: Take your ground beef and form small, loose patties about the size of your tortillas. Don’t worry about them being perfect!
  3. Smash and sear: Place the patties in the hot skillet and firmly smash them down with a spatula. Season with salt and pepper. Let them cook for about 3-4 minutes until a crust forms.
