- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can (15 oz) beans (kidney, black, or pinto)
- 1 can (15 oz) corn
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 cups potatoes, cubed (fresh or frozen)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheese (your choice)
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess grease and set aside.
- Mix together the cooked ground beef, beans, corn, diced tomatoes, chopped onion, garlic, and cubed potatoes in the slow cooker.
- Add your favorite spices, like chili powder and cumin.
- Stir the mixture well to combine all the ingredients evenly.
- Set your slow cooker to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Add shredded cheese on top in the last 30 minutes of cooking and close the lid.
- Give it a good stir and serve hot.
