- 4 cups Fresh Peaches, sliced
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Butter, melted
- 1 tbsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the sliced peaches with sugar and let them sit for about 10 minutes.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, milk, and melted butter until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish, then spoon the peach mixture on top.
- Bake for 45 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Cool slightly before serving warm, ideally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Notes
You can use canned or frozen peaches if fresh peaches are not available. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
