Ingredients

  • 1 box of vanilla or white cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • Red and blue gel food coloring
  • 1 tub whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together the cake mix, eggs, water, and oil in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and bake for 30 minutes.
  4. Poke holes all over the surface of the cake using the end of a wooden spoon.
  5. Drizzle sweetened condensed milk over the cake, ensuring it seeps into the holes.
  6. Divide the whipped topping into three bowls, coloring one red, one blue, and leaving one white.
  7. Spread blue topping on one side, red on the other, and white in the center for a patriotic effect.
