Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- Whisk together the egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and fold gently.
- Fold in your chosen mix-ins.
- Line a muffin tin with paper liners and spoon the batter into each cup.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes.
- Let them cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For a healthier option, substitute half the sugar with mashed bananas or applesauce.
