- 1 lb Ground Beef (80/20 blend)
- 2 Onions (yellow, sliced thinly)
- Salt (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)
- 4 Burger Buns
- Optional Toppings: Cheese, lettuce, tomato, condiments
Instructions
- Heat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Slice the onions thinly and cook them in a little oil until they become tender and golden brown, about 10 minutes.
- Divide the ground beef into equal portions and form into patties. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Grill or pan-fry the patties for about 5–7 minutes per side, depending on your preferred doneness.
- Add the caramelized onions on top of each burger and allow the cheese to melt if you’re using it.
- Serve on toasted buns and add your preferred toppings.
Notes
For a healthier option, substitute beef with turkey or plant-based alternatives. Toasting the buns adds flavor and texture.
