  • Diet: Optional Vegetarian

Description

Delicious and juicy burgers featuring caramelized onions, perfect for summer cookouts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Ground Beef (80/20 blend)
  • 2 Onions (yellow, sliced thinly)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • 4 Burger Buns
  • Optional Toppings: Cheese, lettuce, tomato, condiments

Instructions

  1. Heat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Slice the onions thinly and cook them in a little oil until they become tender and golden brown, about 10 minutes.
  3. Divide the ground beef into equal portions and form into patties. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  4. Grill or pan-fry the patties for about 5–7 minutes per side, depending on your preferred doneness.
  5. Add the caramelized onions on top of each burger and allow the cheese to melt if you’re using it.
  6. Serve on toasted buns and add your preferred toppings.

Notes

For a healthier option, substitute beef with turkey or plant-based alternatives. Toasting the buns adds flavor and texture.
