Description
Delightfully spooky Mummy Chocolate Covered Pretzels that are easy to make and perfect for Halloween festivities.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bag of pretzel rods
- 1 cup of white chocolate chips
- Edible eyes
- Black chocolate or dark chocolate melts
Instructions
- Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
- Dip the Pretzels: Hold a pretzel rod at one end and dip it into the melted chocolate, ensuring an even coating. Let any excess chocolate drip off.
- Set on Wax Paper: Place the coated pretzels onto a sheet of wax paper to cool and harden.
- Create the Mummy Wraps: Melt the black chocolate in the same manner as the white chocolate. Transfer it to a piping bag and drizzle it over each pretzel, creating the effect of mummy bandages.
- Add the Eyes: Before the chocolate hardens, gently place two edible eyes onto each pretzel for a finishing touch.
- Let Them Cool: Allow your mummy pretzels to set completely at room temperature or in the fridge for a quicker chill.
Notes
These pretzels can be made a few days in advance and stored in an airtight container. They can also be frozen for longer storage.
