- 1 cup Fresh Parsley, chopped
- 1–2 cloves Garlic, minced
- Zest of 1 Lemon
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Begin by washing and drying the parsley leaves. Remove any tough stems.
- Finely chop the parsley and transfer it to a medium mixing bowl.
- Peel and mince the garlic and add it to the bowl.
- Use a microplane to zest the lemon, adding the zest to the mixture.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste; mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
- Allow the gremolata to sit for a few minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
Notes
Gremolata is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week. Prepping it a day in advance can enhance flavors.
