Description
A vibrant and refreshing salsa made with ripe peaches, jalapeños, and lime juice, perfect for summer gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 Ripe Peaches, diced
- 1/2 Red Onion, finely chopped
- 1 Jalapeño Pepper, seeded and diced
- 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro, chopped
- Juice of 1 Lime
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Wash the peaches thoroughly.
- Slice them in half to remove the pit, then chop the flesh into small cubes.
- Finely chop about half a red onion and add it to the bowl with the chopped peaches.
- Slice a jalapeño pepper in half, remove the seeds (if you prefer less heat), and finely dice it. Mix it into the bowl.
- Add a generous handful of chopped cilantro to the mixture.
- Squeeze the juice of one lime over the ingredients, and gently toss everything together until well combined.
- Season with salt to taste, then sample your Fresh Peach Salsa to see if it needs any adjustments!
Notes
If peaches aren’t in season, try using mangoes for a tropical twist. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days.
