Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the peaches by peeling and slicing if fresh, or draining if canned.
- Mix the peaches with a sprinkle of sugar and let sit.
- Make the batter by whisking together flour, sugar, baking powder, and milk.
- Melt the butter and pour it into the bottom of a baking dish.
- Add the batter over the melted butter without mixing.
- Top with the sugared peaches, allowing some to sink.
- Bake for about 30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
