Instructions

  2. Prepare the peaches by peeling and slicing if fresh, or draining if canned.
  3. Mix the peaches with a sprinkle of sugar and let sit.
  4. Make the batter by whisking together flour, sugar, baking powder, and milk.
  5. Melt the butter and pour it into the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Add the batter over the melted butter without mixing.
  7. Top with the sugared peaches, allowing some to sink.
  8. Bake for about 30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
