  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juice and zest
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or thyme, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and zest, along with salt and pepper in a small bowl.
  3. Pat dry your chicken thighs with paper towels.
  4. Place the chicken thighs in the baking dish and pour the lemon garlic butter mixture generously over them.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the skin is crispy and golden.
  6. Let the chicken rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crispy skin, broil the chicken for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking. Make sure the chicken is dry before applying the butter mixture.
