- Bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, juice and zest
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley or thyme, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- Mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and zest, along with salt and pepper in a small bowl.
- Pat dry your chicken thighs with paper towels.
- Place the chicken thighs in the baking dish and pour the lemon garlic butter mixture generously over them.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the skin is crispy and golden.
- Let the chicken rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra crispy skin, broil the chicken for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking. Make sure the chicken is dry before applying the butter mixture.
