Description
A comforting dish featuring tender steak bites in a rich garlic butter sauce, paired with twisted pasta in a zesty Cajun Alfredo.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound steak bites, diced into bite-sized pieces
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 ounces twisted pasta (like Fusilli or Gemelli)
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook your pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Sear the steak: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the steak bites and season with salt and pepper. Sear until browned, about 3-4 minutes, then set aside.
- Prepare the garlic butter sauce: In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Make the Alfredo sauce: Pour in the cream, sprinkle in the Cajun seasoning, and stir well. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes and add Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Combine everything: Toss the cooked pasta and steak bites into the Alfredo sauce until well coated. Heat through for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
Consider adding sautéed bell peppers or spinach for added nutrition. For a lighter option, swap cream with Greek yogurt mixed with milk.
