Instructions
- Preheat your oven: Set it to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
- Shape your loaf: Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a lightly greased baking dish.
- Prepare the glaze: In a small bowl, mix ketchup with brown sugar and mustard, if using, and spread it evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake: Place your meatloaf in the oven and bake for about 45 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Rest before slicing: Allow your meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes after removing it from the oven.
