Instructions

- Mash the ripe bananas using a fork until smooth but mostly creamy.
- Mix in the melted butter until well combined.
- Add the baking soda and salt, then mix in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
- Fold in the flour until no white streaks remain.
- Add the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
- Prepare a 4×8 inch loaf pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
