- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted

- 1 stalk celery, diced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup frozen peas (optional)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or crushed crackers
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and lightly grease a casserole dish.
- Cook the egg noodles until just al dente, then drain them well.
- In a large bowl, stir together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chicken broth, melted butter, onion, celery, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Fold in the cooked chicken, drained noodles, and peas if using. The mixture should look creamy and well coated.
- Spoon everything into the prepared casserole dish and spread it out evenly.
- Top with cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs or crushed crackers for a golden finish.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until hot and bubbly.
- Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Feel free to swap sour cream for Greek yogurt or use leftover turkey instead of chicken. For added brightness, stir in parsley or a squeeze of lemon just before serving.
