Description
A quick and easy Chicken Caesar Wrap that combines grilled chicken, romaine lettuce, and creamy Caesar dressing wrapped in a soft tortilla.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, sliced or shredded
- 4 large flour tortillas, whole wheat or spinach
- 2 cups romaine lettuce, freshly chopped
- ½ cup Caesar dressing, homemade or store-bought
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Optional toppings: croutons or cherry tomatoes
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken: If using raw chicken, season it with salt and pepper. Grill or sauté until fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes per side. Allow to rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Chop the veggies: While the chicken cooks, chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
- Make the wrap: Lay a tortilla on a flat surface. Spread about 2 tablespoons of Caesar dressing evenly over the entire tortilla.
- Layering: Add four ounces of chicken, a cup of romaine lettuce, and sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese. Add croutons or tomatoes if using.
- Roll it up: Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it tightly from the bottom up.
- Slice and serve: Cut the wrap in half diagonally and serve immediately.
Notes
For a healthier option, use lettuce wraps instead of tortillas. You can also substitute Greek yogurt for Caesar dressing.
