- 2 large Onions, sliced
- 1/4 cup Brandy
- 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup Sour Cream
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Nutritional Yeast
Instructions
- Slice the onions thinly to help them caramelize evenly.
- Cook the onions in a medium pot over medium heat with melted butter until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.
- Add garlic and brandy, stirring well, and cook for another 5 minutes until the liquid has mostly evaporated.
- Mix the caramelized onion mixture with softened cream cheese and sour cream in a bowl.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm, allowing it to chill slightly before serving.
Notes
For a healthier twist, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream and add fresh herbs for extra flavor.
