Description

A rich and creamy dip made with sweet caramelized onions and brandy, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large Onions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup Brandy
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Nutritional Yeast

Instructions

  1. Slice the onions thinly to help them caramelize evenly.
  2. Cook the onions in a medium pot over medium heat with melted butter until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Add garlic and brandy, stirring well, and cook for another 5 minutes until the liquid has mostly evaporated.
  4. Mix the caramelized onion mixture with softened cream cheese and sour cream in a bowl.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve warm, allowing it to chill slightly before serving.

Notes

For a healthier twist, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream and add fresh herbs for extra flavor.
