Description
A creamy and easy-to-make pasta dish featuring Boursin cheese, chicken, and fresh spinach. Perfect for a comforting family meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine recommended)
- 1 lb chicken breast (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 8 oz Boursin cheese
- 2 cups spinach (fresh or frozen)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook your pasta according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté the chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces, seasoning them with salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes.
- Add garlic: Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about a minute until fragrant.
- Mix in Boursin: Lower the heat and add the Boursin cheese directly into the skillet, stirring until melted and combined with the chicken.
- Incorporate spinach: Toss in the spinach and stir until wilted.
- Combine with pasta: Add the drained pasta to the skillet, mixing everything together until thoroughly coated in the creamy sauce.
- Serve and enjoy: Plate your Boursin Chicken Pasta and garnish with freshly cracked pepper or herbs if desired.
Notes
For a vegetarian option, replace chicken with mushrooms or chickpeas, and use a plant-based Boursin cheese. Reheat leftover pasta gently with a splash of milk or broth.
