Ingredients

  • Dumplings (store-bought or homemade)
  • Ground Meat (beef, chicken, or turkey)
  • Marinara Sauce (or homemade)
  • Cheese Blend (mozzarella, ricotta, and parmesan)
  • Spinach (fresh or frozen)
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Seasonings: Italian herbs, salt, and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté onion and garlic in a splash of olive oil over medium heat until fragrant—about 3 minutes.
  3. Add the ground meat to the pan, cooking until browned, then sprinkle with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs while stirring.
  4. Mix in the marinara sauce and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Layer half the dumplings in a baking dish, followed by half the meat sauce, half the spinach, and half the cheese blend. Repeat the layers.
  6. Top with the remaining cheese blend.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil for the last 5 minutes.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
