Ingredients
- Dumplings (store-bought or homemade)
- Ground Meat (beef, chicken, or turkey)
- Marinara Sauce (or homemade)
- Cheese Blend (mozzarella, ricotta, and parmesan)
- Spinach (fresh or frozen)
- Onion
- Garlic
- Seasonings: Italian herbs, salt, and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Sauté onion and garlic in a splash of olive oil over medium heat until fragrant—about 3 minutes.
- Add the ground meat to the pan, cooking until browned, then sprinkle with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs while stirring.
- Mix in the marinara sauce and let simmer for 5 minutes.
- Layer half the dumplings in a baking dish, followed by half the meat sauce, half the spinach, and half the cheese blend. Repeat the layers.
- Top with the remaining cheese blend.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil for the last 5 minutes.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
