Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat for 5–7 minutes.
  3. Drain excess fat, then stir in the cream of mushroom soup and milk until combined.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Spread the beef mixture evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Layer the frozen tater tots over the beef mixture.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the tater tots.
  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes until the tater tots are golden brown.
  9. Remove and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
