Ingredients
Scale
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 8 oz Brie cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar plum preserves
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Fresh thyme (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet to a ¼-inch thickness.
- Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, slice the pastry into even squares, about 3×3 inches each.
- Take each square and place a small spoonful of sugar plum preserves in the center. Top with a small slice of Brie cheese.
- Fold the corners of the pastry over the cheese and preserves, pinching to seal them tightly.
- Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush the mixture over the tops of each pastry bite.
- Place them on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
