  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and warm water. Mix until just combined.
  3. Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, blend the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter.
  6. Top with the remaining cake batter, covering the cream cheese mixture completely.
  7. Arrange the sliced strawberries on top, pressing them gently into the batter.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let it cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute cream cheese with Greek yogurt. Add a splash of vanilla extract for extra flavor.
