Ingredients

- 1 box of chocolate cake mix
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 cup of fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Beat on medium speed for about 2 minutes until the batter is smooth.
- Fold in the sliced strawberries gently.
- In another bowl, beat together the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Pour half of the cake batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Dollop the cream cheese mixture on top, then pour the remaining batter over it.
- Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly on top.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool for a few minutes in the pan before serving.
Notes
Make it gluten-free by swapping the cake mix for a gluten-free alternative. Use seasonal fruits for variety.
