  • 1 cup Fresh Strawberries, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface and cut out heart shapes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gently fold in the chopped fresh strawberries.
  5. Place the heart-shaped pastries on a parchment-lined baking sheet and spoon filling into the center of each shape.
  6. Fold the outer edges of the pastry towards the center to form a slight border.
  7. Brush the edges with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes, until puffed up and lightly golden brown.
