- 2 cups of semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 can (14 oz) of sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon of peppermint extract
- 1–2 cups of green food coloring (optional)
- Sprinkles (preferably green or festive-themed)
Instructions
- Prepare Your Pan: Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
- Melt the Chocolate: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine semisweet chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir frequently until melted and smooth.
- Add Flavoring: Remove from heat and stir in peppermint extract and food coloring (if using) until fully combined.
- Pour Into the Pan: Pour fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula, adding sprinkles on top.
- Chill and Set: Place in the fridge for about 2 hours or until firm.
- Slice and Enjoy: Lift the fudge out using the parchment overhang and cut into squares.
Notes
For variety, consider adding chopped nuts or swapping half the semisweet chocolate for white chocolate.
