Description

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with this rich and creamy fudge, flavored with peppermint and adorned with festive sprinkles.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups of semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon of peppermint extract
  • 12 cups of green food coloring (optional)
  • Sprinkles (preferably green or festive-themed)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Pan: Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
  2. Melt the Chocolate: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine semisweet chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir frequently until melted and smooth.
  3. Add Flavoring: Remove from heat and stir in peppermint extract and food coloring (if using) until fully combined.
  4. Pour Into the Pan: Pour fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula, adding sprinkles on top.
  5. Chill and Set: Place in the fridge for about 2 hours or until firm.
  6. Slice and Enjoy: Lift the fudge out using the parchment overhang and cut into squares.

Notes

For variety, consider adding chopped nuts or swapping half the semisweet chocolate for white chocolate.
