- 9 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 3 cups fresh spinach
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients: Chop the spinach and mix it with ricotta, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well-combined.
- Layer the Lasagna: In the slow cooker, start with a spoonful of marinara sauce on the bottom. Layer 3 lasagna noodles on top, followed by half of the ricotta mixture, a sprinkle of mozzarella, and a layer of marinara.
- Repeat Layers: Add 3 more noodles, the remaining ricotta mixture, more mozzarella, and another layer of marinara. Finally, finish with the last 3 noodles, the remaining sauce, and the rest of the mozzarella cheese.
- Cook: Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
- Serve: Let it sit for about 15 minutes before serving to set up the layers.
