- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over the pork loin.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Sear the pork loin on all sides until browned (about 3-4 minutes per side).
- Transfer the seared pork loin to a baking dish and cover it with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Let the pork rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For deeper flavor, marinate the pork loin in the spice mixture for a few hours or overnight before cooking. Adjust the cayenne pepper according to your preferred spice level.
