- 1 cup buttermilk (or milk and lemon juice)

- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Oil for frying (vegetable or peanut oil)

Instructions
- Marinate the pork chops in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
- In a shallow dish, mix flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Remove chops from buttermilk and dredge in the flour mixture.
- Heat 1/2 inch of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry pork chops for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Drain on paper towels and serve.
