Instructions
- Preheat Your Oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg and extracts, beating until fully combined.
- Gradually incorporate the dry mixture into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Scoop balls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until soft in the center.
- Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- To make frosting, combine powdered sugar, softened butter, milk, and vanilla, then frost cooled cookies.
