- 1 cup cherry tomatoes
- 1 cup chicken broth

- Fresh basil, chopped
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer the sautéed onions and garlic to the slow cooker. Add chicken breasts, cherry tomatoes, chicken broth, and Italian seasoning, then gently stir.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours or high for 2 to 3 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, remove chicken, stir in heavy cream, and return chicken to heat through.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
