A warm and hearty slow cooker soup made with creamy potatoes, crispy bacon, and zesty ranch seasoning.

- 5 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 6 slices of crispy bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In your slow cooker, combine the diced potatoes and crumbled bacon.
- Pour in the chicken broth and sprinkle the ranch dressing mix over the top. Mix gently to coat the potatoes.
- Secure the lid and set your slow cooker to low for 4 hours.
- After 4 hours, stir in the heavy cream and allow it to cook for an additional 30 minutes.
- Once it’s done, taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.
- Serve hot, topped with shredded cheddar cheese and green onions.
Notes
For a lighter option, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream or coconut milk for a dairy-free version. You can also use turkey bacon or sautéed mushrooms for a vegetarian twist.
