- 1 cup uncooked pasta (elbow or penne)
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the diced onion and bell pepper. Sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Push the vegetables to the side and add the ground beef. Cook until browned and crumbly, around 7-10 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Add diced tomatoes and beef broth, followed by Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a gentle boil.
- Stir in uncooked pasta, cover, and let simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the pasta is tender.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle shredded cheese on top, letting it melt under the lid for about 5 minutes.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
