Description

A hearty breakfast casserole with sausage, eggs, and cheese baked on a crescent roll crust, perfect for family gatherings or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 can of crescent roll dough
  • 1 lb bulk breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded mild cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spray a 13×9 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  3. In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium-high heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and place it in the bottom of the prepared baking dish, pinching seams to cover.
  5. Layer the cooked sausage over the dough.
  6. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper, then pour evenly over the sausage.
  7. Sprinkle cheese on top and bake uncovered for 40 minutes.
  8. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
