A delicious twist on grilled cheese with mozzarella, pepperoni, and garlic butter, perfect for pizza lovers.

- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 4 slices Sara Lee Artesano Bread
- 4 slices mozzarella cheese (1/8-inch thick)
- 18 slices pepperoni (cooked and grease dabbed off)
- For the garlic butter:
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh or dried parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-low heat. Place two slices of bread in the skillet.
- Layer one slice of mozzarella, 9 slices of pepperoni, and another slice of mozzarella on each piece of bread. Top with the remaining slices of bread.
- Cook the sandwich on each side for about 3 minutes, or until the bread is golden and the cheese is melty.
- For the garlic butter, melt 3 tablespoons of butter and stir in parsley, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt.
- Brush the garlic butter on both sides of the sandwich and cook for an additional 30 seconds on each side.
- Remove the sandwich from the skillet, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
