Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Using a cookie scoop, drop rounded portions of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool completely before frosting with your favorite frosting and adding sprinkles.
Notes
