Description

A heartwarming recipe for Korean BBQ Meatballs served with a zesty Spicy Mayo Dip, perfect for cozy dinners or festive gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  2. Use your hands to roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. In a skillet, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat.
  4. Add the meatballs to the skillet and cook for about 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. While the meatballs are cooking, whisk together mayonnaise, Sriracha, and lime juice in a small bowl.
  6. Transfer the cooked meatballs to a serving platter and serve warm with the Spicy Mayo Dip on the side.

Notes

For a healthier option, swap ground beef for turkey or use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise. Adjust the Sriracha to control spice levels.
