Ingredients

  • 12 fresh jalapenos
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Jalapenos: Wash and dry jalapenos, slice in half lengthwise, and remove seeds.
  2. Mix the Filling: In a bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper; stir until smooth.
  3. Fill the Peppers: Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeno half.
  4. Wrap with Bacon: Halve each bacon slice and wrap tightly around each stuffed jalapeno.
  5. Bake Them Beautiful: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake poppers on a lined baking sheet for about 15 minutes.
  6. Serve and Enjoy: Let cool slightly before serving.
