- 12 Mozzarella Cheese Sticks
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 2 large Eggs
- 2 cups Breadcrumbs (Italian seasoned or Panko)
- ½ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Dried Italian Herbs
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- Oil for Frying
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by setting up three shallow bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for the breadcrumb mixture.
- Coat each mozzarella stick in flour, dip it in the beaten eggs, and roll it in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Freeze the coated sticks on a baking sheet for 15-20 minutes.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat until ready for frying.
- Fry the mozzarella sticks for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
For a healthier version, consider air frying or using whole wheat flour.
