Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 1/4 teaspoons Active Dry Yeast
- 1 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Butter, melted
- 3 large Eggs
- 1 tablespoon Cinnamon
- 2 cups Powdered Sugar
- Colored Sprinkles
Instructions
- Activate the Yeast: In a small bowl, combine warm milk and yeast, stirring gently. Let it sit until bubbly—about 5 minutes.
- Make the Dough: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt. Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and eggs. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead: Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- First Rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
- Roll and Fill: Roll it out into a rectangle, spread softened butter, and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
- Form the Cake: Roll the rectangle into a log, then shape it into a circle, pinching the ends to seal.
- Second Rise: Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, cover, and let it rise again for about 30 minutes.
- Bake: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Frost: While cooling, whip together your frosting and spread it over the top, then decorate with colorful sprinkles.
- Enjoy: Serve slices and hide that baby inside!
