Ingredients
- Pork shoulder or butt (3-4 lbs)
- Hawaiian BBQ sauce (1 cup)
- Soy sauce (1/4 cup)
- Brown sugar (1/4 cup)
- Pineapple juice (1/2 cup)
- Garlic cloves (4, minced)
- Onion (1, sliced)
- Slider buns (12)
- Coleslaw mix (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Pork: Trim excess fat from the pork shoulder and cut it into large chunks.
- Mix the Marinade: In a bowl, combine Hawaiian BBQ sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, and pineapple juice.
- Season and Cook: Place pork chunks in a slow cooker, pour marinade over, add onions and garlic. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Pull the Pork: Remove pork, shred using two forks, and return to slow cooker.
- Combine with Sauce: Toss shredded pork with sauce and keep warm in the slow cooker.
- Assemble the Sliders: Toast buns if desired, fill with pulled pork, and top with coleslaw if using. Cap with the top bun.
