Description

A creamy and comforting Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta that’s perfect for family dinners or quick weeknight meals.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (any kind, recommended fettuccine or penne)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously until it starts to simmer.
  4. Add the Parmesan cheese, whisking until smooth. If too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water.
  5. Stir in the cooked chicken and drained pasta, tossing to coat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

You can add vegetables like spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor and nutrition. Use half-and-half to lighten the dish.
