Ingredients

- 8 oz pasta (any kind, recommended fettuccine or penne)
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously until it starts to simmer.
- Add the Parmesan cheese, whisking until smooth. If too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water.
- Stir in the cooked chicken and drained pasta, tossing to coat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
You can add vegetables like spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor and nutrition. Use half-and-half to lighten the dish.
