Description
A cozy family favorite featuring tender steak bites in rich garlic butter served with crispy golden potatoes.
Ingredients
- Steak (Sirloin or Ribeye)
- Baby Potatoes
- Garlic
- Butter
- Olive Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Fresh herbs (like thyme or rosemary)
Instructions
- Prepare the Potatoes: Wash and quarter the baby potatoes. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Toss in the potatoes, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for 10-12 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Cook the Steak Bites: Cut the steak into bite-sized cubes, season with salt and pepper. Once the potatoes are crispy, push them to the side and add olive oil if needed. Add the steak in a single layer.
- Add the Garlic: After 2-3 minutes, flip the steak to sear the other side. Reduce heat to medium, add minced garlic and let it sizzle.
- Mix in Butter: Once the steak reaches desired doneness (4-5 minutes for medium rare), add butter and fresh herbs. Stir to coat the steak and potatoes.
- Serve It Up: Remove from heat and serve hot to enjoy the delicious flavors.
