Description

A quick and flavorful Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta that transforms an ordinary weeknight dinner into a gourmet experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz spaghetti or linguine
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
  2. While the pasta cooks, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  4. Stir in the broth and lemon juice, simmering for about 2 more minutes.
  5. Add the drained pasta to the skillet and toss everything together. If too dry, add reserved pasta water gradually.
  6. Top with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For a healthier option, substitute with whole wheat or gluten-free pasta. You can also add spinach or cherry tomatoes for extra nutrition.
