Description

A comforting family favorite featuring slow-cooked beef, toasted garlic, and melted cheese, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb roast beef (thinly sliced, deli-style)
  • 8 slider rolls (soft and fluffy, like brioche or potato rolls)
  • 1 cup beef broth (preferably low-sodium)
  • 1 cup provolone cheese (or your favorite melting cheese)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • Butter (for toasting the rolls)
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and minced garlic. Simmer over medium heat.
  3. Cut the slider rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Layer the sliced roast beef on the bottom halves.
  4. Sprinkle shredded provolone cheese generously over the beef.
  5. Place the tops of the rolls back on and brush melted butter over them.
  6. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and tops are golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly and serve with small bowls of reserved broth for dipping.

Notes

Let the sliders rest for a few minutes before serving. Toasting the rolls adds a wonderful crispness.
