- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the apples: Peel, core, and slice. Toss with lemon juice, cinnamon, and half of the brown sugar.
- Pour the apple mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Make the topping: Combine oats, flour, remaining brown sugar, and salt. Drizzle with melted butter and stir until crumbly.
- Spread the topping over the apples evenly.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown and apples are bubbly.
- Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
