Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat a splash of olive oil over medium heat. Add the Italian sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add the diced onion to the pot and sauté until translucent, about 3 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth, stirring well to combine, and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and allow it to blend with the broth.
