- 1 lb Gnocchi
- 8 oz Mushrooms (cremini or button)
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- ½ cup Parmesan Cheese
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped mushrooms and cook until golden and tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Once the mushrooms are cooked, stir in the minced garlic and Italian seasoning. Sauté for another minute.
- Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream, stirring well. Cook for about 2-3 more minutes until the cream thickens.
- Cook the gnocchi according to package instructions until they float to the top.
- Once the gnocchi is cooked, gently stir it into the creamy mushroom sauce. Add the Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Dish out and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For variations, add sautéed chicken or shrimp, spinach, or fresh herbs like thyme or sage.
