Ingredients

  • 1 lb Gnocchi
  • 8 oz Mushrooms (cremini or button)
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped mushrooms and cook until golden and tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Once the mushrooms are cooked, stir in the minced garlic and Italian seasoning. Sauté for another minute.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream, stirring well. Cook for about 2-3 more minutes until the cream thickens.
  4. Cook the gnocchi according to package instructions until they float to the top.
  5. Once the gnocchi is cooked, gently stir it into the creamy mushroom sauce. Add the Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
  6. Dish out and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For variations, add sautéed chicken or shrimp, spinach, or fresh herbs like thyme or sage.
